Our privacy policy explicitly states that we do not share consumer information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do, however, use and share health information for other reasons, such as: Treating patients, Billing for services, and Running the office. The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 requires health providers to keep medical and dental information private. HIPAA also requires health providers to post a written Notice of Privacy Policy in a clear and prominent location, and provide it to patients.
